In order for a carrier rope to have the maximum lifetime and optimal performance, it is crucial not only to choose the right one but also to splice itprecisely and introduce it into the paper machine. Proper rope splicing is illustrated in our video. You can make your work much easier by using a rope tensioner, splicing needle and a safety knife.
During feeding it is necessary to make sure the rope run is perfectly clean, which is best achieved by using a rope guide and cleaning rope. The paper rope then needs to be unreeled in a horizontal direction to keep it from twisting, which can be helped by a specially designed three-reel rope cart that keeps the three spools relatively clean and dry. A tensioner together with a range of mounting accessories will make it easier to feed.
Even if the installation accessories make the entire process as simple as possible, it is more than advisable to place due emphasis on safety. This will be provided by our personal protective equipment.
