The rope has a more robust braid. Thanks to a special manufacturing technology, TIMBER is better able to withstand abrasion and the higher temperatures that can be caused by friction in the prusik. At the same time, however, the rope is low weight. Smooth, easy ascent. It is also easy to splice. The rope’s bold colours guarantee maximum visibility.

The TIMBER EVO 12.5 was developed for professionals who prefer a more robust rope without adding much weight. This double braided rope has a robust polyester braid with excellent abrasion resistance. The high strength nylon core has just 3% elongation, thus reduces the energy used whilst maintaing a good level of safety. The braid is woven to make any use smooth and easy. You will also appreciate that the braid has virtually no slippage.
While this rope may be larger than other TIMBER EVO ropes, it won't weigh you down.
