After a total of 16 years at Lanex, Martin Václavek, the current Executive Director and a member of the Board of Directors, has decided to leave. He has been replaced by Marek Kloupar, who, in addition to the position of Executive Director, also holds the position of Chairman of the Board of Directors of Lanex a.s.

Mr. Kloupar previously worked as the managing director of KOMAS spol. s r. o., which produces metal stampings, tools for engineering and building hardware, and, like Lanex, is a member of the BR Group.

Mr. Kloupar graduated from the University of Business in Ostrava, majoring in Business Economics and Management. During his studies, he was employed as the Regional Sales Manager of Domestav s.r.o., where he worked his way up to the position of Sales Manager. He took over at Komas in November 2016. He speaks English.
