Jute cords and ropes are resistant to micro-organisms, alkaline substances and organic solvents, but are not resistant to acids. Their resistance to UV radiation is low. A polypropylene tape is added to some rope diameters, which significantly increases their strength characteristics and makes them suitable for use in construction and industry.

Basic properties:

  • they are not resistant to acids,
  • good resistance to alkalis and organic solvents,
  • low resistance to UV radiation,
  • biodegradable material.
