Interactive yacht shows the location of ropes.
Sheets and halyards
Ropes with low elongation, very high strength and abrasion resistance and long service life. Out of the very broad spectrum of materials, mostly polyester for normal applications is used here while polypropylene is alternative for less demanding conditions.
Mooring and anchoring ropes
Ropes with good strength, adequate elasticity being able to absorb shocks, and good abrasion resistance.
Ancillary ropes
Suitable for many applications aboard, from trimming ropes and binding cords of small diameters to fenderlines and single mooring and tow ropes of bigger diameters.
