bulk bags (FIBC)

assortment

Standard Bulk Bags

Classic, 4 point (as well as double and single point) bulk bags for use with free-flowing and bulky material in volumes of up to 3m3.
Typical product - agricultural products (cereals, rice, cocoa beans, soy beans), construction materials (gravel, sand).

NEW - MinMax

A new FIBC type, suitable to carry high-density products with low height and small volume. Parameters - maximum height 60 cm, SWL 2000 kg (SF 5:1), volume 0,25 - 0,33 m3.
Suitable for: metal powders

UN Bags

This is a special line of bulk bags dedicated to the transportation of dangerous materials. UN bulk bags are made in accordance with the United Nations Recommendations on the Transportation of Dangerous Materials, more commonly known as the Orange Book for road (ADR), railway (RID) and marine transportation (IMDG - Code). Our UN bags are large and designed for packaging category II and III materials defined in chapter 9 of the Orange Book Typical product - poisons, corrosives.

Types offered:

  • 13 H1 - PP FIBC uncoated without liner
  • 13 H2 - PP FIBC coated without liner
  • 13 H2Y - PP FIBC single-layer UN FIBC, it has identical parameters as the double-layer FIBC
  • 13 H3 - PP FIBC uncoated with liner
  • 13 H4 - PP FIBC coated with liner

Safe working load (SWL) is 1000kg, with a safety factor (SF) of 6:1.
UN FIBC are produced with flat, outlet, or conical bottoms that simplify the emptying process, especially with materials that don't flow so freely.

Electrostatic Bags

This line of bulk bags is designed for materials that can create an electrostatic charge during handling. These electrostatic bags help our customers to eliminate risks associated with electrostatic charges. Typical product - granules, toner, resin.

FIBC requirements:
in accordance with research carried out by the Swiss Institute for the Promotion of Safety and Security.

Legend
  • A - All LANEX a.s. FIBC's can be used.
  • B - All LANEX a.s. FIBC's without liner. Breakdown voltage of the FIBC wall must be less than 4 kV.
  • C - Conductive LANEX a.s. FIBC's. Electrical resistance to the earth from any given point on the bag is less than 108Ω.
It is necessary to ground the bag during the filling and emptying processes.
  • Bag containing weaved-in conductive fibres that are not connected. These bags need not be grounded.
Electrical charges are partially diverted to the atmosphere along the conductive fibres.
  • O - Other special precautions.

Conductive FIBC - NEUTRA C

We are able to reduce the presence and the action of electrostatic charge in the conductive FIBC during filling and emptying operations by a new type of conductive FIBC – NEUTRA C. As compared with a standard Type C FIBC, the new FIBC is twice as effective in the removal of electrostatic charge.

The gist of the innovation consists in the removal of electrostatic charge from the FIBC interior through the so-called passive neutralizer.

This new FIBC type is suitable for protection and handling of materials with a strong electrification of particles. These are especially powders (for instance, toners).

Q Bags

Bags with inner construction designed for the transportation of loose material. Q bags maintain their rectangular shape, and can help to save up to 30% in storage and transportation space.
Typical product - cereals and a host of other products that need a square-bottomed bag.

Conical bags

Bags designed for materials that can have difficulty being emptied from classical bags. Conical bags empty easily without leaving material stuck in the corners of the bag. They also fill more easily, and better use the total capacity of the bag.
Typical product - toner, food powder (starch), pigments.

Omni Bags

Quality bags, used for transporting construction material, rough gravel, or organic waste. A single man can safely work with these bags. The bottom is specially constructed. By pulling on the release cord it is possible to safely and easily empty a bag within a few seconds.
Typical product - construction materials, rough gravel, organic waste.

Bags with Solid Panelling

Inserting solid panels helps to make the bags more resistant to physical damage, while improving their solidity, stability, and shape. They also help to save space in transport and storage. These bags are especially advantageous for use with valuable materials.
Typical product - metal oxides, pharmaceutical products and products that can damage the walls of the bag (screws).

Liners

Serve as additional protection for the material. Shaping the liners to match the dimensions of the bags simplifies filling and emptying.

Liners can be placed into the bags:
  • freely
  • glued
  • sewn
There is a wide range of liners available:
  • PE liners
  • multi-layered barrier liners with special layers (A1, PA etc...)
  • conductive and anti-static liners
  • liners with inner construction (Q-Liners)

The standard technical solution of putting inner liners into the FIBCs makes use of inserting, glueing and sewing. In case the high filling speed or a more adhesive product is filled, the places where the inner liner is attached to the FIBC are exposed to increased stresses. When emptying the FIBC, the inner liner is carried along. A solution of the above problems is an FIBC with replaceable shaped liner.
