Polypropylene technical fibre
Our high-strength, multifilament PP fibre is sold under the name MULTITEX. We provide the fibre in linear densities of between 550 and 3300 dtex (500-3000 den).
The fibre's characteristic properties - high resistance to climatic influences, acids and alkaloids, as well as colour durability - make the fibre suitable for the manufacture of threads, cords, braided and twisted ropes, woven straps, netting and filter fabrics.
Thanks to its excellent price/performance ratio, it can replace polyester rope for some applications.
Our standard fibre comes with a UV radiation resistance of between 80 and 100 kLy, but we are able to attain stabilisation of up to 300 kLy.
TIP:
Our high-strength PP fibre, ANTIPYREX, is designed for industrial sectors that demand non-flammable textile material. We closely follow the needs of construction companies that require non-flammable safety netting. Our testing procedures meet all of the norms established for non-flammable construction material.
ANTIPYREX meets the requirements of DIN 4102, class B1, and DIN 4102, class B2. Use of fire retardants has no effect on the strength, UV radiation stability, or the certified health parameters of non-flammable polypropylene fibre. ANTIPYREX is easy to work with (with its increased capacity for twisting and weaving) and can be used for various technical textile applications, including twisted and braided ropes, woven technical textiles, rope netting for construction and transportation, as well as electrical engineering and the like.
