POWERLINE UNO
POWERLINE UNO is the most common and wide-spread type of braided PCR. Known for its simple splicing, high abrasion resistance and heat resistance, as well as durability in drying sections (see technical parameters). UNO ropes must be properly tensioned under operating conditions.
Splicing is critical, and must be carried out according instructions, available in printed form, on CD-ROM and on videocassette.
POWERLINE DUO
POWERLINE DUO is the best solution for "size press" sections, "coaters", and other difficult sections. It can also run under lower tension. Technical parameters.
Thanks to its inner core:
- penetration of abrasive particles or other chemical substances into the rope is reduced
- the rope keeps its shape, resulting in smoother pulley line flow
Splicing is critical, and must be carried out according instructions available in printed form, on CD-ROM and on videocassette.
SUPERLINE UNO
SUPERLINE UNO - single rope, hollow braided without core. Made from Polyamide fibres which are supercoated.
It is easy to splice. Thanks to supercoating it resist well against hardened starch in grooves of pulleys in size press sections. It performs extremly well under wet conditions. Good ropetensioning is recommended.
SUPERLINE DUO
SUPERLINE DUO - double braided with core. Made from Polyamide fibres which are supercoated.
Thanks to special construction of braiding and to supercoating, no particles can enter inside the rope. Extremly efficient in size press sections with hardened strach in grooves of pulleys and under wet conditions. DUO ropes run very smooth, without flattering also under lower tension. The splice must be made according to LANEX a.s. splicing instructions.
Supercoating
LANEX a.s. sets a new standard in the quality of PCR - the supercoating technology. Besides single fibre impregnation and ultra-high termofixing the new supercoated ropes from LANEX a.s. are additionally coated and thermostretched. This 2-step-operation improves the abrasion resistancy significant, reduces rope stretch, prevents waterabsorbtion, increases chemical resistancy and gives better rope grip.
Splicing tools
The quality of splicing is largely dependent on the quality of the used tools. For this reason, we offer a special splicing kit that includes a needle, scissors, a printed instruction manual, a CD-ROM with detailed information, and a videocassette with splicing instructions. Contact us.

Paper carrier ropes must not be used for any other purposes than those for which they were designed. The special modifications made to these ropes render them unsuitable for other applications (as lifting ropes, for example).
