Polyamide ropes

Polyamide ropes excel in absorbing energy, They have high strength and are highly resistant to abrasion.

Basic characteristics:

  • non-floatable
  • higher temperature resistance than polypropylene - working temperature up to 100°C (softening temperature 170°C, melting temperature 215°C)
  • high strength and abrasion resistance
  • high elongation
  • lower acid resistance
  • moisture absorption

TIP:
Thanks to the heat setting of the material under high temperature and high moisture, no changes of technical parameters (strength, elongation) due to weather conditions occur. The ropes can be used for handling of heavy loads.

Use:

  • mooring and towing ropes
  • modified ropes for cargo handling
  • and other

Packaging:

  • plastic spools, coils, minicoils, hanks, etc.

Modifications:

  • spliced with eyes (including plastic or metal thimbles)
  • special lengths
  • incorporated components – metallic, plastic (thimbles, hooks, karabiners, etc.)
  • heat setting
